Today I’m going to discuss How to avoid the 3 mistakes as to why your ‘expert’ business is failing…

Now in my opinion the ‘expert’ space has grown so much that we are all now experts and to some, that is a bad thing and I have to agree.

And when I say failing, I mean your bank balance isn’t looking as healthy as you want it to be, the phones aren’t ringing and the forms on the website aren’t being filled out enough…

So, the Number 1 reasonwhy your expert business is failing IS

You aren’t doing as you said you would do…

Hands up, come on, and with this you have to be truthful and honest to yourself as that’s probably the reason why you aren’t driving the flash Bentley or sitting on a beach with your supermodel wife or sharing the most amazing times your having on insta.

You aren’t doing what you said you would do….

So, here’s my hands up! I used to do that. I would take an order and move onto the next one, nothing wrong with that but you’ve gotta help people out, you have to be kind. You don’t have to be all Gordon Geko about your business. 

That mental shift I made over 3 years ago has now helped not only myself but my clients produce the results they want and more.

Time is money blah, blah, blah but more so than ever you have to build long-lasting relationships.

So, to confirm, if you say you are going to get that project finished by a certain date, finish it before, if you say you are going to set a number of appointments, set that number, if you say you can sell 1,000 widgets, sell a 1,000 widgets.

Don’t pretend – be the expert!

You’re not putting out enough quality content out there. People are only gonna get something from you once they’ve qualified you not the other way round, don’t let some bullshit marketing guru tell you otherwise.

We are all the judge and juror.

However, if you put out enough quality and that’s the keyword here, quality, people will start the process of the Know, like and trust.

For me, content is King.

And the third reasonwhy your expert business is failing IS

You are not telling people enough about your products and services.

I will say that one more time…

You are not telling people enough about your products and services.

If you have a product on ‘How to make £1,000 in 5 days on LinkedIn’ then tell the world constantly about it.

If you truly believe your service or product can help people, then tell people about it.

You don’t have to have a super long over complicated funnel and then you hit them between the eyes on day 14.

Tell them about it from day 1

Simple.

1: Do what you say you would do

2: Content is King

3: Tell people all the time how you can help them, offer them the product and sell it
